About Ichthyosis
Harlequin Ichthyosis

Harlequin Type Ichthyosis is a rare genetic skin disease inherited as an autosomal recessive trait and may be a phenotype of several genetic disorders. At birth the chest and abdomen of patients are usually severely constricted due to thick skin plates that make breathing and eating difficult and usually produce distorted facial features and often deformities in other parts of the body.
