2010 Research Grant Application Packet Request for Proposals 2010 The Foundation for Ichthyosis & Related Skin Types is launching year five of its research grant program to encourage and support investigation into the causes, treatments, and potential cures for ichthyosis. Letters of Intent will be accepted for detailed investigations into Epidermolytic Hyperkeratosis. High priority will be given to proposals that focus on the translation of known genetic information and established pathogenic pathways into curative therapies or new therapies with significant impact for EHK. Epidermolytic Hyperkeratosis Research Grants are renewable for up to a total of three years, depending on progress and availability of funds. Grants may be funded up to $75,000 per year. Interested parties should email a LOI to the Foundation at info@scalyskin.org, to be received in the Foundation office by February 22, 2010. Parties submitting appropriate proposals will be contacted by the Foundation and invited to complete the application process.
